How often should you cut your grass

Cutting your grass at the right times and height is paramount to having a lush and well looked after lawn.  During the warmer months, we tend to sprinkle grass seed to the lawn whenever we see a small patch appear.  It really gives the lawn a lovely boost.

If you find yourself getting patches in the grass: maybe you left the trampoline out, swimming pool, sunbeds or tables and chairs in the same spot for too long or you’ve removed an ant hill or had to fill in patches where foxes or other animals have dug out the lawn.  Remember to move things around every week to ensure patches do not form.  If you have patches, just buy some grass seed, give the area a little rake, hose with a little water, then sprinkle the grass seed over the area.  Within a few weeks, your patch will be gone.
