A heat pump tumble dryer is the most eco-friendly tumble dryer on the market as it generally comes with an A+++ rating. This means that it uses a lot less energy than the other two types below to dry clothes. You can place it anywhere in the house or flat/apartment as it does not require a hose or needs to be placed in a well-ventilated room as this type of appliance does not create hot air or moisture externally.
This type of tumble dryer will save you money on electricity bills as it uses hot air to remove moisture from the items which then evaporates into the appliance’s tank. These types of appliances are initially more expensive, but over time, savings will be made on your energy bills.
This type of tumble dryer is much more efficient if you select a 4-7kg, 8-9kg or 10kg drum size as fabrics tend to dry much faster in larger appliances.
