What a fantastic week we have had this week!
We pushed ahead with insulating the internal parts (this does take some time) but we have finally managed to get most of it done this week.
The insulation is nearly complete.
We are not just working on the loft conversion at the moment.
We are also carrying out other works on our home including:
- Replacing all the windows of the house
- Re-rendering the outside of the house
We will be covering all of these works on the site so do make sure you come back and check out our improvements section of the site.
So, we took some time out to look at neighbouring properties with a view to deciding on the style of replacement windows for the rest of the property.
Once we had decided on a style, we went online to look for reviews of local companies and asked friends and family for recommendations. We contacted four companies, had a few site visits to measure up and were given a few rough quotes.
We accepted a great offer from Associated Glass and will be having a surveyor come out next week to measure up and confirm a final quote. The company is well known in our area, we had a great recommendation from a friend for them and we also found some amazing reviews online.
We will keep you posted as to how we get on with this.
The roof is looking great, to say we were pleased with its progress is an understatement.

We then went shopping for a new bathroom suite for the loft.
We were in the BathStore for at least an hour and a half and we were both totally impressed and completely blown away by the way the sales representative (Samantha Lawson) in the Enfield branch assisted us.
Please note. We are not paid for these kind of endorsements. If the product or service is great then we say it!
The design service was FANTASTIC! You can view your new bathroom from every angle and see a birds eye view which really helps you get a good idea of how the end product will look. We will keep you updated on the progress of this so please do keep checking back with us.
