This week has seen some major changes to the conversion.

We spent considerable time this week deciding on the positioning of the electrics, selecting a style of window for the loft and liaising with the joinery company in relation to the loft stairs.

We also needed to decide on what style of roof tile for our property. We thought it would look good incorporating the colour of the roof tile (grey) onto the outside frame of the loft windows so that they blend with the roof.  The velux windows going into the roof at the front of the loft have the same effect.

We provided measurements to our window company for the loft windows.

We had a visit from our joinery company to measure up for the wooden stairs.

The site has seen a few arrivals and trades this week.

A second delivery arrived with insulation from Lawsons with some left over materials returned in a different vehicle. The delivery was craned off and two men lifted it to the top of the house.
