You will need:

Method for heavily soiled white clothes (ensure you do this in a well-ventilated room) and cover your mouth:

  1. Boil two kettles of water.
  2. Carefully pour the kettle water into the bucket.
  3. Add half a cup of Napisan Non-Bio Stain Remover.
  4. Add half a cup of Vanish Fabric Stain Remover Gold Oxi Action Powder, Crystal White, 2.4 kg.
  5. Give it a stir with a wooden spoon.
  6. Quickly place an item of clothing into the bucket, then give it a stir, then add another item, give it stir etc, etc.
  7. Keep repeating this until the last item has been placed in the bucket but ensure that the items are all submerged under the water.
  8. Place the bucket in a well-ventilated area away from children and animals and leave it overnight.
  9. The following morning, put on some marigolds and carefully place the clothes into your washing machine.
  10. Pour some of the mixture from the bucket into the drum of the washing machine.
  11. Set the machine to a whites wash cycle of around 60 degrees.
  12. Once the cycle has completed, leave the washing inside the washing machine and run the clothes through your normal cycle adding washing powder/liquid/softener etc.  This helps to remove any product from your washing before it is worn.
  13. Voila!  Beautiful whiter washing.

In the 70s and early 80s, many families soaked terry nappies in a bucket of Napisan until it was time to wash them.  Not only did it disinfect the nappies, it also whitened them beautifully which is why this is the perfect product to use when looking to get your washing bright and clean.  Every day you can come into contact with germs when in crowded environments, in public places or in the presence of pets.  A regular detergent cleans but does not disinfect.  Napisan works by releasing active oxygen to remove stains.  Items washed with Napisan will not only be clean but Napisan also kills the germs you cannot see to leave your garments more hygienic.  Microbiological tests show that Napisan disinfects even at 30 degrees and safely takes care of your laundry. In contact with water Napisan is able to destroy the germs in the laundry.
